How to invest your money
How to invest: Buy, hold and rebalance index funds (ETF's).
Most people should hire a fee-only fiduciary adviser for a ONE-time consultation to come up with a "game plan" to determine if you have enough money saved up for retirement, how much risk to take, etc. Avoid non-fiduciaries (product pushing salesmen). In addition to accepting fiduciary responsibility to you in writing (via a signed contract), a legitimate registered investment adviser will provide you with copies of both parts of a "Form ADV", and provide you with a written disclosure of exactly how he will / may be compensated for his services and list any potential conflicts of interest. Do not work with any adviser who does not provide you with these critical documents.
