David Cameron must put his “money where his mouth is” and commit to spending 2 per cent of Britain’s national income on defense. That warning comes from senior Tory MPs vying to run one of Parliament’s most powerful select committees.
According to The Telegraph, all three Tory MPs who are running to be the chairman of the influential defense select committee have warned that Britain’s international reputation will be diminished if Mr Cameron fails to make the commitment.
